Healthy Peanut Butter Banana Ice Cream Recipe

When you are trying to eat healthy it is sometimes hard to avoid temptations.
One craving that is especially hard to ignore is ice cream.
Great news though, that craving is super easy to satisfy now, even while trying to maintain a healthy diet.
Follow the recipe below for our favorite (non) ice cream recipe and make indulging much more of a guilt free experience!

What You Need:
3 large ripe bananas
3 tablespoons natural peanut butter
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
a dash of cinnamon
sea salt to taste
roasted peanuts for topping

What You Do:
-Cut your bananas into small bite size pieces and freeze them until solid, aprox. 1-2 hours.
-Place your bananas into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
-This may take a little while because it will be like blending ice since the bananas are frozen (but it will be worth it!)
-Add peanut butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, sea salt, and anything else you want to combine.
-Pulse your blender quickly to combine all of your ingredients and serve immediately.
-Top your ice cream with some warmed up peanut butter drizzled on top and crushed roasted peanuts. Yum!

Have you ever made ice cream like this before?
Is it something that you would try?
