Quick and Easy Campfire Recipes

I don't know about you but I love camping! Being outdoors, relaxing, no phone, no Internet, just you, nature, and your friends and family! Dinner around the campfire is always a fun time because everyone gets to catch up and discuss all the fun activities that were had throughout the day. Why miss out on that time cleaning and preparing for a meal when you could be sitting down and enjoying it? Here are some deliciously mouth watering meals that are quick and easy and won't leave you cleaning and preparing throughout most of your dinner sit down time!

Tips:
-Try to prepare as much food ahead of time as possible. Brown your chopped meat, create any tin foil packets (more about that below) ahead of time and place foil packs in ziplock bags, wash and chop all veggies etc.
-It's always good to bring a few bags of salad to compliment your meals and at least 2 flavored dressings. It's quick, easy, and pairs great with any meal.

Sour cream
Salsa
Taco Sauce

Directions: After your meat is seasoned and cooked have each each person that you are feeding grab the chip bag of their choice and have them slightly crush the chips in the bag.
Open your bag of chips at the top and add your meat directly over the chips
Add all the toppings of your choice, pass out forks, and eat right out of the bag!

Grab your sandwich rolls once the food is done cooking and place the sausage in it. Top your sandwich with your delicious pepper and onions and also add the sauerkraut and/or relish if you feel like going all out!

Pizza Calzone:
