Rockin and Remodeling

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!
We were busy as ever over here at Cupcakes & Crossbones, which is great for keeping us out of trouble.
I have been working lately on a kitchen remodeling project that is definitely putting my construction and remodeling skills to the test.
If you follow us on Instagram you will see what I am talking about.
What was supposed to be just ripping up old linoleum floor turned out to be ripping up 4-5 layers of old tile and linoleum as well as 2 plywood sub floors and fixing a rotting hole in the floor that lead right down to the basement.

Needless to say, the floor project lasted a little longer than expected but I finally repaired the hole, added a fresh and clean sub floor, and put down the new floor!
I can't wait to show you the projects that were done on this kitchen and the before and after shots.

We are also getting super pumped for this weeks "Women Who Rock" interview with Stef with an F from City Of The Weak.
You are not going to want to miss this and if you have yet to hear the kick ass tunes that this band pumps out, head over to their page and get to listening. You won't regret it!

    1. Yes, they are awesome! I think you will enjoy their music. It was super tedious and resulted in lots of blisters on my hands lol but the tile is now down, grouted, and sealed.... now to get on with the rest of the project! =)

    1. doing any renovation always opens a can of worms but this phase of the project was the super annoying tedious part. Lots of floor removal, replacing, screwing in the whole new floor. It took an entire day.
